Description
The SBWL „Strategy & Organization“consists of five courses, which help students understand how organizations can be designed and re-designed to achieve their strategic objectives and succeed over time.
The specialization provides an integrative understanding of Strategic Organization Design by emphasizing how corporate strategy needs to be aligned with an organization’s structure, processes, people, and the environment in which it competes. Students learn and discuss how managers can actively influence these design parameters.
The SBWL equips students with profound knowledge of the central strategic and organizational challenges and enhances their ability to analyze and critically evaluate strategic decisions and organizational implications.

- Course 2: Organizational Change and Redesign
- Course 3: Cases in Strategy & Organization
2. Term:
- Course 4: Strategic & Organizational Analysis in Practice
- Course 5: Business Project Course
Bachelor thesis
Requirements for writing a bachelor thesis at the institute are the successful completion of course 1-3 in the specialization Strategy and Organization. And furthermore, an evidence of sufficient interest and knowledge in the subject areas, availability of supervision, positive answer by a supervisor, proposal and preliminary outline corresponding with the quality standard of the institute.

Admission
First of all, you have to register for AG “Access to Specialization in Business Administration: Strategy and Organization” in LPIS and fill out the SBWL Bewerbungsformular and add your CV, transcript of your records and a motivation letter.
Once you have successfully passed the admission process, your AG course will be graded with “successfully completed”.
